This 60 minute class will begin with 30 minutes of a Vinyasa flow targeted at warming up your body, getting your blood flowing, and connecting your breath to movement. Then, we will transition into about 30 minutes of deep stretches that will improve your range of motion, lower your stress levels and promote self-compassion and gratitude. I will weave stories, Bible verses and prayer throughout the journey to promote peace and encouragement in class that you can carry with you into your everyday lives, families, and your community.
While I prefer to play music in a typical in-person session, Zoom is not conducive to projecting music while I am trying to cue the poses. And, in this format, it can violate copywrite laws. So, I will be providing a suggested playlist via email about 3 days before our session that you can build in your preferred music app. I use Spotify, but don't feel bound to that. And, if you choose to use no music, or a different playlist, that is your choice and it should not change the benefits of the class. My music is just a suggestion, so feel free to use whatever you choose.
No experience is necessary. For class, you should have a mat or towel and some water. A block or two is suggested, but not necessary to complete the class.
